Product General Conditions Guideline

This guide will help the vendors and customers (shoppers) understand the requirement to appropriately qualify a product according to its attributes. In detail, all product features must be found in the descriptions of each product.  

General Descriptions: 

New:  This type of product has the original packaging, like a retail store. It must contain all the bundle parts. This type of product has the original manufacturer’s warranty in most situations (the vendor must specify). The product must be new, unused, and without damage or marks. The packaging must be new, unopened, or broken. The product must be in excellent working condition.   

New-Open Box:  a package with a small ripped, a small opening, or the box is missing, but the product is new. It can be a product with protective wrapping packaging for easier shipping. The vendor should be specific about the details. Items are new, unused, and without any damage. All the accessories or bundle pieces must be new, unused, and without damage. All the parts must be sent together if the product comes as a bundle. Must include the instructions, properly working, and have manufacturer’s warranty. Specify that it is not a refurbished item. If the product is food, it cannot be described under this condition. Food must always be in a closed, sealed bag to keep it fresh and meet the requirements of the products. 

Slightly Used – Almost New: A well-cared item that has seen limited use and remains in good working condition. The product may show minor stress marks, scratches, or imperfections. The product must be in excellent working condition. The product’s package may be open, without the wrap, or with some flaws. This product comes with all the original parts and instructions. Any imperfection, if any, must be stated in the product description. These types of items are mostly returning or store floor displays.   

Used – Satisfactory: Products under this condition are reasonably used. The product must be working correctly. The vendor should state the warranty. This product may have minor stress marks, scratches, or imperfections that do not affect the working conditions. Those imperfections must be noted in the description. Only some pieces may be missing), but those missing parts cannot affect the working conditions of the product. This condition may show damaged packaging or repack with any packaging other than the original. 

Used: This condition will represent products with significant signs of some stress marks, scratches, or imperfections. The package may be missing or replaced. The accessories must be available, as well as the instructions. You must show the flaws and conditions of the products in the photos, but it/they must be in working condition. Most items have no warranty or guarantee.  

Unaccepted: the product is broken, not working correctly, has malfunctioned, has a foul smell, is expired, or is missing pieces or accessories. It is prohibited to sell open or used over-the-counter medicine (OTC). Any of these general conditions make a product forbidden from trading in Zona Shoppers:

• Opened food/CD/DVD/Game/Media/Music package. 
• The product has stains, mildew, odors, or any other agent that affects the product’s quality. 
• The product does not agree with federal, state, local, or international laws. 
• The product goes against the rules of Zona Shoppers. 
• The product is part of the Restricted Product Listing. 

Refurbished: This condition refers to all products with a pre-owned history. These products have no signs of stress marks, scratches, or imperfections. The product has been professionally restored by a manufacturer or approved manufacturer repair shop to meet the requirement for excellent conditions. The packaging is like retail stores and is closed or sealed. The product must come with a manufacturer’s warranty or re-warranty. 

The warranty must state a replacement or refund within 90 days of purchase. If there is an exception to the manufacturer’s warranty, it must be stated in the item’s description. In addition, the product must be in excellent working conditions.  

Unacceptable Conditions on a Product

If the products present any of these types of conditions, the item is prohibited from being listed on Zona Shoppers: 

• Item is not clean, dried up, with mold, stained, or corrosion; it has an odor is ripped (unless part of the style), or is heavily imperfect, not applicable to any accepted conditions. 
• Computers cannot be listed as used. They must be new or manufacturer’s refurbished with a warranty. 
• Product not working correctly or as intended. 
• Products without vital parts necessary for a standard performance or style, excluding packaging and instructions.  
• Product in need of repair or service.  
• Products that are a reproduction of an original counterfeited, replica, imitations, copyright, trademark infringement, or item with any federal, state, local, or international violation.  
• Product of some promotion, part of the bundle, or part of any other marketing strategy.   
• Expired products or items. If the date on “Best by” or “Sell by”  shows an expired date, and the product may present a health risk.  

     Products without the “Best by” or “Sold by” label cannot be listed.

     Products with altered (tampered) “Best by” or “Sell by” products are prohibited from a listing.  

• Product unaccepted by manufacturers. If a product doesn’t pass a manufacturer’s approval, it is prohibited from being listed because it may risk the customer’s health. 
• Products under refurbished cell phones must have the previous cancel accounts without SIM cards and clean and restore memory.
• Opened, partially eaten, expired, or spoiled food. 
• Products labeled as prohibited for commercialization
• Ink cartridge under refurbished or used.
• Copied, backups, stolen, counterfeited, or not new software programs.  
• Product is part of the Restricted Product List. 

 Condition guidelines for specific products:

Auto: Parts & Accessories

New: the part/accessory must be brand-new, unused, unopened, and undamaged in its original packaging. Some components may not have packaging relevant. The conditions of the items must be considered excellent. The packaging must be a seal, new, unopened, unbroken, and undamaged. The package must be similar to the one in retail stores.

In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or protective wrapping packaging. These products may come directly from manufacturers or manufacturer’s representatives (vendors). This type of product has the original manufacturer’s or vendor’s offered warranty. It must contain all the unused bundle parts. While describing your product, vendors should specify if your product has a warranty, guarantee, or else. If the product is defective, the vendor must accept a return and refund the money. 

The vendor must state how to work with recalled products.  

New- Open Box: this refers to a new product that, for one reason or another, the package got a small rip, a small opening, or the box is missing, but the product is new. The product may come with protective wrapping packaging for easier shipping instead of the original packaging. The vendor should be specific on the details if in need of them. Items are new, unused, unstained, without odor, mildew, or any damaging agent. The package should not have been opened to change the product components. If the product comes as a bundle, all the parts must be with the main product. The difference between new and open boxes is the enclosed package. All the main features must be new, unused in excellent condition. All the English language instructions must be included. It must be properly working. Must have manufacturer’s warranty. This is not a refurbished item. 

Used: Products under this condition are reasonably used. The product must be working correctly. The vendor should state the warranty. This product may have minor and almost no visible stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections that do not affect working conditions. Those imperfections must be stated in the description. Only some parts may be present in this type of product (some pieces may be missing), but those missing parts must not be a conflict for the product to work correctly. This condition may show damaged packaging or be repacked with packaging other than the original. If the product is not working, the vendor must return the money or offer a store credit.

Remanufactured: this refers to an accurately renovated auto part. The item has been cleaned, fixed, and checked for wear and breakage. Worn-out, lost, or non-functioning components have been replaced with new or restored parts. The part is in similar working conditions to the new part and is practically identical to a new piece. The seller must state any warranty or details about the elements (parts). 

Tires

New: a brand-new, unused tire never installed on a motor vehicle.

Used: this product has been used on previous motor vehicles. The product is in good working condition. 

There must be some signs of usage, but it has at least 5/32″ tread remaining. The vendor must state the current condition of the tire and any specific warranty (if any). The vendor must guarantee the 5/32″ tread remaining. 

Unacceptable: If the product is broken, damaged, tread less than 5/32″, or not complying with the law, it cannot be listed. 

Baby & Baby Accessories, Crafts, Dolls & Bears

New: New baby products must be unopened, unused, and free of damage and odors. The product must be on the original packaging, sealed, or closed. In some cases, the package may not resemble retail packaging, such as an unprinted box or protective packaging. All items, including those handmade, must be in excellent condition. If the product is sold in a bundle, all the parts must be in perfect condition. Clothing must have original tags (if tag-less, you must specify in the description). It must be free of stains, dust, ruptures, mildew, or other harmful agents. This type of product has the original manufacturer’s warranty. It contains all the unused bundle parts. Vendors, while describing your product, you should specify if your product has a warranty, guarantee, or else. It contains all the unused bundle parts. It cannot have stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. The vendor must offer a money-back guarantee if the product is not working.  

New-Open Box:  this refers to a new product that, for one reason or another, the package got a small rip or a small opening. In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or protecting wrapping packaging (not for Over Counter Products (OTC)). Items are new, unused, unstained, without odor, mildew, or damaging agent. The products like clothing must have original tags; if there are no tags, the vendor should specify the descriptions. The packages should not have been opened to change the product components. If the product comes as a bundle, all the parts must be with the main product. The opening may be a small rip or a small cut. The difference between new and open boxes is the enclosed package. All the main parts must be new, unused in excellent condition. 

All the English language instructions must be included. It must be properly working. Must have manufacturer’s warranty. This is not a refurbished item. If the product is food, it cannot be described under this condition. Food must always be in a closed, sealed bag to keep it fresh and meet the needs of the products. Over-the-counter medicines (OTC) cannot be in an open box. The OTC packaging must be sealed or retail closed. An opened Over The Counter (OTC) product is prohibited from listening. 

Slightly Used: A well-cared item that has seen limited use and remains in good working condition. The item may show little stress marks, scratches, or imperfections. 

The product must be in excellent working condition (components like a zipper, button, etc., must be functional). These products have some use, but the item’s condition is still outstanding. 

The item may not have the original packaging or wrapping. It may be a return or store floor model. The conditions must be reasonable and must have all the wearable parts.  

Unaccepted: the product is broken, not working correctly, has malfunctioned, missing pieces or accessories, stains, odor, mildew, broken, excessive use, stress marks, or alterations cannot be listed on Zona Shoppers. In addition, items rejected by manufacturing are considered a threat in baby/kids/children/girls/boys/youth categories and are prohibited from being listed on Zona Shoppers. 

Products with non-working parts or not fully operational are prohibited from being listed. In addition, items that need service or repairs are prohibited from being listed.  

Books and Collectable Books:

Books:

New: new books are unused, unread, unopened, and in excellent condition. 

The vendor should specify the book’s details, and if there is any information relevant to the buyer, it should be in the description. For example, it contains all the unused bundle parts. In addition, it cannot have stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. If the product is not in described conditions, the vendor must offer a money-back guarantee.  

New-Open Box: this refers to a new product that, for one reason or another, the package got a small rip, a small opening, or the box is missing, but the product is new. Another reason could be that it has protective packaging for easier shipping. The vendor should be specific on the details if in need of them. Items are new, unused, unstained, without odor, mildew, or damaging agent. The package should have kept the product components the same. If the product comes as a bundle, all the parts must be with the main product. The difference between new and open boxes is the packaging. All the main features must be new, unused in excellent condition. This cannot be a refurbished item. Books must have all the pages, no damages, marks, or any agent that changes the designation as a new book. 

Slightly Used – Almost New: these books can have stress marks, marks, or small bends or some scratches, but they cannot be ripped, broken, stained, mark inside; pages must be unmarked, without stains, pencil, pen, or highlighter marks, erase marks or any trace that was somehow marred by notes. It must have an “in great shape” spine, cover, and pages. In some cases, bundle media may be attached, even though used. Product returned or store floor display. If the bundle media cannot be bound, it must show in the description. It cannot have any bundle component for download.  

Used – Satisfactory: Products under this condition are reasonably used (may have some tears and wear). The product must have all the components in good condition; it could have gone through restoration. 

The products must have minor cosmetic imperfections, stress marks, and small bends and scratches, but they cannot be broken. Those imperfections must be stated in the description. Some parts may not be present in this type of product (some pieces may be missing), but those missing parts must not be a conflict for the product to work correctly. 

The vendor must offer a money-back guarantee if the product is not working. Any part that requires download can be included. It may have minor marks made with a pencil, pen, or highlighter. The cover, spine, and pages may have some things that need fixing or fixing. The bundled media is not included.

Unacceptable: books with broken pages or broken parts, missing pages, illegible parts, unacceptable lettering on pages, excessive marks, and excessive imperfections cannot be listed on Zona Shoppers. 

If the book is stamped “Library,” it cannot be listed (please return it!). If the book was once wet, is made of copied pages, or has mildew, it cannot be listed. Copies of advanced books, uncorrected proof, in-print books, or not yet published books. Books with any infringement. 

Collectible:  

A collectible book may be defined and legitimately certified by experts, for example: 

• First edition
• Unique edition  
• Signed edition
• Special bindings
• Rare editions
• Antique editions

Condition Rules for Collectible Books:

Collectible – Almost New: The book must be in excellent condition. The signs of edging or use must be minimum. The book must have all the original pages. The cover must be original (not fixed or retouched or containing any alteration). The appearance of the book must be clean and well taken care of. Certification of authenticity should be presented to verify the validity of the book.  

Collectible – Satisfactory: the book must not have any page marks and should be in satisfactory condition. The wear and tear marks will be present but minimal. Pages must be complete in their total. The spine may have some indications of rubbing. Certification of authenticity should be presented to verify the validity of the book.  

Collectible – Acceptable: the book must contain all pages; the spin can show some rubbing or chipping. The book must be acceptable without highlighter marks and pen or pencil wording on the pages. Even though the book may have signs of significant wear, it cannot be broken or refurbished. Certification of authenticity should be presented to verify the validity of the book.  

Cameras & Photo, Cell Phones & Accessories, Computers, Tablets & Networking, Electronics, Home & Garden, Musical Instruments & Tools, and Hardware

New: the conditions of the items must be considered excellent. 

The packaging must be sealed, new, unopened, unbroken, or undamaged. The package must be similar to the one in retail stores. In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or protective wrapping packaging. These products may come directly from manufacturers or manufacturer’s representatives (vendors). This type of product has the original manufacturer’s warranty in most situations. It contains all the unused bundle parts. Vendors, while describing your product, you should specify if your product has a warranty, guarantee, or else. It cannot have any stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. If the product is not working, the vendor must offer a money-back guarantee. 

New-Open Box: this refers to a new product in the package that got minor damage or a small opening for one reason or another. In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or protecting wrapping packaging (not for OTC). Items are new, unused, unstained, without odor, mildew, or damaging agent. The products like clothing must have original tags; if there are no tags, the vendor should specify them in the descriptions. 

The packages should not have been opened to change the product components. If the product comes as a bundle, all the parts must be with the main product. The opening may be a small rip or a small cut. The difference between new and open boxes is the enclosed package. All the main parts must be new, unused in excellent condition. All the English language instructions must be included. It must be properly working. Must have manufacturer’s warranty. This is not a refurbished item.  

Slightly Used – Almost New: This is the type of product with very few stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. The product must be in perfect (excellent) working conditions. The item may not have the original packaging or wrapping. This product’s package may be open, without the wrap, or with some imperfections. This product comes with all the original parts and an English instructional pamphlet. The conditions must be suitable and must have all the wearable pieces. Any imperfection, if any, must be stated in the product description. Product returned or store floor display. The vendor must offer your money back if the product is not working.  

Used – Satisfactory: Products under this condition are reasonably used. The product must be working correctly. The vendor should state the warranty. 

This product may have minimal stress marks, scratches, or imperfections that do not affect the working conditions. Those imperfections must be stated in the description. If the product is not working, the vendor must return the money. 

Used: This condition will represent products with visual signs of stress marks, scratches, or imperfections. Even though it is used, it cannot have substantial flaws. The products classified as users cannot need work or refurbishing. The package may be missing and not replaced. Some products do not offer codes, software, or download software accessories. The instructions may not be available. The photos will notice the imperfections and conditions of the products. 

The product must be in working condition. The description must state all the imperfections as shown in the pictures. If the product is not working, the vendor must return the money. 

Refurbished: This condition refers to all products with a pre-owned history. These products have no signs of stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. The product has been professionally restored by a manufacturer or approved manufacturer to meet the requirement for excellent conditions. This means the product has been inspected, cleaned, and repaired to meet manufacturer specifications and is in perfect condition. The product must come with a manufacturer’s warranty or re-warranty. The warranty must state a replacement or refund within 90 days of purchase. If there is an exception to the manufacturer’s warranty, it must be stated in the item’s description. The product must be in working condition. If the product is not working, the vendor must return the money.  

Unaccepted: the product is broken, not working correctly, malfunctioning, and missing pieces or accessories vital for properly using the piece. Products with strong stains, odor, mildew, broken, excessive use, stress marks, or alterations cannot be listed. Items rejected by manufacturing are prohibited from being listed on Zona Shoppers. Products with non-working parts or not fully operational are prohibited from being listed. Items that need service or repairs are prohibited from being listed. 

Clothing, Shoes & Accessories: Clothing and accessories, Jewelry & Watches, Sporting Goods

New with Tags: this product must be brand-new, unused, unstained, odorless, and without mildew or broken. It can be a manufactured product or a handmade product. It must be on the original manufacture package with original artwork. For handmade products, the container depends on the vendor. The conditions of the items must be considered excellent. The packaging must be sealed, new, unopened, unbroken, and undamaged. The package must be similar to the one in retail stores.
In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or protective wrapping packaging. Vendors, while describing your product, you should specify if your product has a warranty, guarantee, or else. It cannot have stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. If the product is not working, the vendor must return the money. 

New without Tags:  this refers to a new product for one reason; the tag is lost, not attached, or not hanging from the clothing. Another reason can be that it is a handmade product or a small manufacturing production. The vendor should be specific on the details if in need of them. Items are new, unused, unstained, without odor, mildew, or damaging agent. Even though the tag is not present, the item is considered new and in excellent condition. The package must be similar to the one in retail stores.

In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or protective wrapping packaging. If the product comes as a bundle, all the parts must be with the main product. All the main parts must be new, unused in excellent condition. All components (zipper, buttons, ribbons, etc.) must work properly. 

This is not a refurbished item. 

New with defects: this product is new, unused, and without stains, mildew, odors, or stress marks. Any defect can make the products incomplete or defective, but not broken. It can be missing a button, imperfect natural color variations to scuffs or edges, pulled threads, small cuts, scratches, or hanging threads. These are imperfections that may happen during shipping or storage handling. In addition, the piece may be missing some original packaging materials (maybe an original box or tag).  

The original tags may or may not be attached.  

 Unaccepted: the product is broken, not working correctly, has malfunctioned, missing pieces or accessories vital for the proper use of the piece, stains, odor, mildew, broken, excessive use, stress marks, or alterations cannot be listed. 

Items rejected by manufacturing are prohibited from being listed. Products with non-working parts or not fully operational are prohibited from being listed. Items that need service or repairs are prohibited from being listed.  

Shoes:

New: the conditions of the items must be considered excellent. The packaging must be original, unopened, unbroken, and undamaged. The package must be similar to the one in retail stores. In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or plastic packaging. 

New shoes must not have any damage or marks on the bottom of the sole. This type of product has the original manufacturer’s warranty in most situations. It contains all the unused bundle parts. Vendor, while describing your product, you should specify if your product has a warranty, guarantee, or else. It cannot have stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. The vendor must offer a money-back guarantee if the product is not working.  

New-Open Box:  this refers to a new product that, for one reason or another, the package got a small rip, a small opening, or the box is missing, but the product is new. Natural color variations, minor cuts or nicks, hanging threads, or missing buttons occasionally occur during manufacturing or delivery. The apparel may contain irregular or mismarked size tags. The item may be missing the original packaging materials, or a protective wrapping package can replace the original packaging. New factory seconds and/or irregular items may fall into this category. The original tags may or may not be attached. The vendor will state the defects in the item description.  

Pre-owned: An item that has been used or worn previously. 

This type of product can be returned or store floor models. The item cannot have significant imperfections or be broken. It may have all the accessories or parts and must be in workable condition. The vendor must state the conditions of pre-owned shoes.  

Clothing, Shoes & Accessories: Underwear

New with box: this product must be brand-new, unused, unstained, odorless, and without mildew or broken. It can be a manufactured product or a handmade product. It must be on the original manufacture package with original artwork. For handmade products, the container depends on the vendor. The conditions of the items must be considered excellent. The packaging must be sealed, new, unopened, unbroken, and undamaged. The package must be similar to the one in retail stores. In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or protective wrapping packaging. 

Vendors, while describing your product, you should specify if your product has a warranty, guarantee, or else. It cannot have stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. If the product is not working, the vendor must return the money.

Products with non-working parts or not fully operational are prohibited from being listed. Items that need service or repairs are not permitted to be listed.  

Collectible Toys & Games and other collectibles: 

Collectible – Slightly Use-Almost New: This type of collectible has a great appearance and is in excellent condition. This collectible remains without stress marks, stains, scratches, or imperfections. The product wrapping may show discoloration or may be missing. The package must show discoloration but must remain in its original condition. The collectible must be in working conditions. This product must be considered in excellent condition.  

Collectible- Used-Satisfactory: These collectibles must be in an acceptable condition. It may show a little use but still can be considered in excellent condition. The product may mostly show signs of use or age on packaging and instructions. The product must be in working condition. This product must be considered in excellent condition. 

Collectible – Certainly Good: The collectible will give little signs of usage, like stress marks, stains, scratches, or imperfections. 

This is an item without a package or wrapping but with instructions (with some signs of use or aging). The collectible must be in working conditions. Overall, the product is in good condition. 

DVDs & Movies, Music, Video Games:

New: video games must come in seal-retail packaging. Open retail packages for video games are not considered new. 

No other type of packaging is acceptable. Must follow all rules and regulations. It cannot be counterfeited or a copy. Most are those direct from manufacturers or manufacturer’s representatives (vendors). 

 It contains all the unused bundle parts. While describing your product, you should specify if your product has a warranty, guarantee, etc. The product must come in its original packaging, in most cases, and cannot have any stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. The vendor must offer a money-back guarantee if the product is not working.

It must be properly working. Must have manufacturer’s warranty. This is not a refurbished item.  

 Unacceptable: Any product without the original packaging, instructions, or vital components cannot be accepted.  

Any item not working correctly or broken cannot be accepted.  

Food & Beverages

New: All food, irrelevant to humans or animals, must be brand new, unused, unopened, undamaged, and without any opening on the bag. The package must be original from the brand. The box must be as in retail stores. Must have at least 90 days of use before the expiration day. If 90 days have passed, you must remove the items from your listing. Any specifications must be stated in the description of each item. The food product must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and requirements. Imported food must show evidence that it agrees with FDA and US laws and regulations.  

Health & Beauty:

New: Must be brand-new, unused, unbroken, or have any other agent that affects the new condition. It can be handmade under the same previous conditions and must be in the original packaging with the original logos attached. The conditions of the items must be considered excellent. The packaging must be sealed, new, unopened, unbroken, and undamaged. The package must be similar to the one in retail stores. If the product is a homemade product, for example, lotion or soap (not medicinal), the package can be non-retail packagings, such as an unprinted box or plastic packaging. These products may come directly from manufacturers or manufacturer’s representatives (vendors). The product must have a label with all the specifications the law requires. In the case of over-the-counter medications (OTC), the package must be sealed as in retail stores. The product must not be expired. The vendor must offer a money-back guarantee if the product (OTC) is expired, opened, or used. Health products must comply with all rules and regulations. 

New-Open Box:  this refers to a new product that, for one reason or another, the package got a small rip, a small opening, or the box is missing, but the product is new. Another reason could be that it has protective wrapping packaging for easier shipping. The vendor should be specific on the details if in need of them. Items are new, unused, unstained, without odor, mildew, or any damaging agent. The package should not have been opened to change the product components. If the product comes as a bundle, all the parts must be with the main product. 

The difference between a new and an open box is the enclosed package. All the main parts must be new, unused in excellent condition. This is not a refurbished item. Food cannot be described under this condition if the product is food. Food must always be in a closed, sealed bag to keep it fresh and meet the needs of the products. The product cannot be listed under an opened box if it is an over-the-counter medicine. All OTC products’ packaging must be sealed or manufactured closed. 

Unacceptable: 

Any product that has been used, opened, marked as testers, manufacturer rejects, or any other condition that shows the product has been used is prohibited from being listed as part of your products. The product must be new, unused, unopened, clean, sealed (in some specific cases), unexpired, and considered in excellent condition. 

Any product that has been used opened, testers, manufacture rejects, or any other condition that shows the product has never been used or is not entirely new is prohibited from being listed. 

Pet Supplies and Accessories: 

New: products must be unopened, unused, and free of damage. The product must be on the original packaging, sealed, or closed. In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or plastic packaging. All items, including those handmade, must be in excellent condition. If the product is sold in a bundle, all the parts must be in perfect condition. They may come directly from manufacturers or manufacturer’s representatives (vendors). This type of product has the original manufacturer’s warranty in most situations. It contains all the unused bundle parts. Vendors, while describing your product, you should specify if your product has a warranty, guarantee, or else. Food and food-related items must fall under this condition. It contains all the unused bundle parts. It cannot have any stress marks, scratches, stains, or imperfections. If the product is not working, the vendor must offer the money back.

New-Open Box: this refers to a new product that, for one reason or another, the package got a small rip or a small opening. In some cases, the package can be non-retail packaging, for example, an unprinted box or protecting wrapping packaging (not for OTC or food). Items are new, unused, unstained, without odor, mildew, or damaging agent. The products like clothing must have original tags; if there are no tags, the vendor should specify them in the descriptions. The packages should not have been opened to change the product components. If the product comes as a bundle, all the parts must be with the main product. The opening may be a small rip or a small cut. The difference between a new and an open box is the enclosed package. All the main parts must be new, unused in excellent condition. 

All the English language instructions must be included. It must be properly working. Must have manufacturer’s warranty. This is not a refurbished item. If the product is food, it cannot be described under this condition. Food must always be in a closed, sealed bag to keep it fresh and meet the needs of the products. Over-the-counter medications (OTC) cannot be in an open box. The OTC packaging must be sealed, or retail closed. An opened OTC must be listed elsewhere except Zona Shoppers. 

Slightly Used – (Almost New): these products have some use, but the conditions of the item are still outstanding. There are no signs of stress marks, steins, breakage, alterations, or malfunction. 

The item may not have the original packaging or wrapping. It may be a return or store floor model. The conditions must be good, and must have all the wearable parts. Product returned or store floor display. These conditions are not acceptable for food, medicines, or health products. Any detail must be stated in the description. The product must be in working condition; if not, the vendor must return the money.  

Unaccepted: Any item broken or stained, with odor, mildew, stress marks, excessive use, missing component, alterations, or rejection from a manufacturer is prohibited from being listed. Expired products. Products with non-working parts or not fully operational are prohibited from being listed. Items that need service or repairs are not permitted to be listed. Things like open food, medicines, or health products are prohibited from being listed. 

Particular emphasis on Pets’ Food:

Pet’s food must be new and in a good date statement (it cannot be expired). Must have at least 90 days (3 months) before expiration. Any expired food must be removed from the listing immediately. It may represent a hazard for the animal.
